SECURITY SYSTEM
The security system of Tekfen Tower includes CCTV system, intrusion
detection system and access control system. - CCTV System · There will
be CCTV system to monitor internal and external critical areas of the
tower over 24 hours by CCTV cameras. · In the system there will be fixed
or pan tilt, external and internal type colour cameras. The supply of
the cameras will be 24 V AC. · In the security control station, there
will be one multiplexed to control outdoor cameras with pan tilt unit
and one multiplexed for indoor cameras. Two 20" coloured monitors will
be used for multiplexed view and two 14" monitors will be for spot monitoring.
There will be also two VCR for each multiplexed and a keyboard for controlling
movable cameras. · All cables in this system will be halogen-free and
RG-59-U4 coaxial cable will be used for indoor applications, RG-59-U6
for outdoor applications and for the power cable of all cameras 3x1,5
mm LIHH cable will be used. - Intrusion Detection And Access Control
Systems · Intrusion detection system will be installed to monitor the
status of the doors and to control the entries and going-out's at security
priority places · Magnetic contacts will be used to monitor the doors,
which will not be controlled with access control system (such as electrical
rooms, fire staircases, warehouses, rooms related with building management).
For some critical rooms and areas like information rooms, lobbies etc,
it is suggested to use passive infrared detectors and also panic buttons.
· At underground parking entrances, there will be security grills. These
grills can be controlled by security centre or locally. All card readers
will be proximity type. All magnetic contacts and arm locks that will
be mounted upon the doors will be co-ordinated with door manufacturer
during the installation period. Access control panels will send information
over a data line to central station (not exceeding 16 panels). Main
centre will be at level LVB2 and three are two repeater panels at the
lobbies for customers, visitors. Power supply of access control system
will be connected to UPS panels. · Entrance and exits at personnel parking
areas will be done with card readers at the barrier control of garage
and these entrance and exit information will be transmitted to the access
control system centre. Folding-arm type turnstiles are selected to prevent
second entries when card is previously used.
