FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
· Fire Alarm System will be operated with the coordination of the building
automation system, elevators and public address system. · Fire Alarm
System is designed according to NFPA, NEC and UL standards and also
the norms of international insurance companies are taken into consideration.
· In the Fire Alarm System, electronic (digital) addressable photoelectric
type smoke sensors will be used in the offices and in the areas where
people work. Ionisation type of smoke sensors will be used in the warehouse
and in the electrical rooms. Heat sensors will be used in the mechanical
rooms and elevator mechanical rooms. · Fire alarm system cables will
be installed up to the main door of the offices at the tenant' s floors
and all other operations inside tenant' s office will be done by tenants
with approval of management of tower. · Electronic (digital) addressable
monitor modules will be used for monitoring of both water flow switches
and valve interference switches. Manuel alarm touch buttons will be
used for warning. · Warning of Fire Alarm System will be done both with
voice and light. Voice warning will not done by sirens. It will be done
over loudspeakers via digital recorded announcement from Fire Alarm
Centre · Fire Announcement System is independent from general public
address system and cooperates with Fire Alarm System. · % 50 spare parts
is available in Fire Warning System. Fire announcement system is designed
to make announcement independently to each floor and also it is possible
to make announcement to fire staircases, elevators, garage and technical
areas. · The warning will be done by strobes installed near the loudspeaker.
Strobe flashes will work with 24 V. · Fire telephones will be addressable
and all will be connected directly to fire telephone central. The main
purpose of these telephones is for the confirmation by fire fighting
personal whether there is fire or not. · Fire Alarm Panels will directly
be connected to UPS System. Fire Alarm Panels will have battery back
up which supplies 24 hours stand by energy to the panel and in case
of energy cut these batteries will supply energy of 5 minutes at full
load. · Fire alarm panels will have 4 loops that can be connected 125
detectors and 125 button/modules. Cabling will be Class A type. There
is % 30 spare parts for each loop and in addition, one spare loop card
will be installed to each Fire Alarm Panel. · All fire alarm system
cables will be fire-retardant and halogen free type.
